Hope on the Horizon:
Joseph’s Journey
Saddle up and join us for four evenings on the trail as we follow Joseph’s journey and see how God is at work — even when life takes unexpected turns.
Each night will be filled with Bible lessons, music, games, dinner, and hands-on activities. Kids will experience the story of Joseph in a way they can understand, while being reminded that God is faithful through every season.

Here’s what to expect during our week on the trail at Hope on the Horizon: Joseph’s Journey. Dinner will be provided each night at no cost. Take a look at the schedule below as you plan your family’s week with us!

SERVICE PROJECT
Fill the Boot
We will be collecting money for Por Los Ninos this year. We will have a competition between the boys and girls to see who can fill their assigned cowboy boot in the gym lobby and raise the most money for Por Los Ninos.
RECITE MEMORY VERSES
Memory Corral
Each night, children will have the opportunity to recite the evening’s memory verse to our sheriffs. They’ll be in the coffee foyer during snack time and after dinner, ready to listen and hand out prizes.

OUR LOCATION
Where to Find Us
We’re located off of Hwy 31 in Hoover. Visitors parking is available in the immediate spaces to the left and right after entering the parking lot. Handicap and special needs parking is available at the West entrance on the far side of the building from the entrance to the parking lot.

Important Details for This Year
Please note that our auditorium is currently under renovation, which will change a few things during VBS.
Registration will take place in the gym lobby.
Meals will be served in the gym, with additional seating available in an enclosed tent just outside.
Adults are invited to stay in the tent after dinner to enjoy dessert while children participate in the opening singing and drama in the gym.
Once children transition to their classes, adults will move into the gym for a class taught by our ministers. The evening’s drama will be recorded and shared during this time.
