Who is your child’s youth minister? If you answered Malvin Sanders, you may technically be right. But I would like to suggest to you today, that your child’s primary youth minister… IS YOU.
I get to see your child in an average week for 2 classes of less than an hour a piece. Compare that to how much you get to see them and you will quickly pick up on what I am getting at. More so than they will ever listen to a lesson given as a part of our youth ministry, they are listening to your life. Part of my job is to help you with that and I would love to do so! In a world that is constantly trying to sell us and our teens on a lifestyle, be a shining example of what it means to follow Jesus, and how fulfilling that is!
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
