Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. – Proverbs 22:6
Training a Child
We are all born with the ability to choose right and wrong. We are all born with a need for God. Our responsibility as Christians is to train our children in the Lord and point them to Jesus Christ. We are not the perfect example, only He is the perfect pattern for their life.
The curriculum and activities we have developed help provide a foundation for the children to know and love God’s word and keep it close to their heart. We know that life will not always be easy, but we know having a relationship with Jesus Christ will give them purpose and ultimately lead to eternal life.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Children’s Minister to learn more.
Children’s Worship Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m.
We provide a worship service on Sunday evenings for children starting at age 3 through 2nd grade to have a separate worship service. We use this time to teach our children how to sing, listen and pray during worship to build good habits of participating in worship services as they grow and mature. We encourage them to be boys and girls who love and respect the word of God and want to follow Jesus.
The Children’s Worship service provides a balance of songs, lessons, skits and puppet shows to communicate the message from God’s word in a way that is meaningful to the children.
Adventure Club Activities
Many activities are provided throughout the year for our adventure club children to participate that are service oriented and also some that are geared towards having fun, encouraging one another and providing fellowship with other Christian mom’s and dad’s who are trying to raise their children in the Lord. We invite you to be part of our family as we all point our children to Jesus.
Sunday and Wednesday Bible Class Curriculum
We provide curriculum that takes the children through the entire Bible each year for the 4 to 5 years they are in the Adventure Club age range. We belive this lays a foundation of learning that can be built as they grow and mature. Use the links below to sample the topics covered in the first 3 years of adventure club.
