Yesterday I had to take a little 2 hour drive, and I must say that I was focused and deep in thought about a particular lesson coming up. And then…it happened.
Apparently it was bug migration season and I was in their direct path. And then…a massive thunderstorm accompanied with pounding rain and hail.
Branches flying, leaves swirling, brake lights, cars swerving, cars stopping on the interstate due to one major problem – WE COULDN’T SEE! We were all struggling with lack of vision.

What causes the most distractions in your walk with God?

Does your spiritual life, at times, resemble the physical distractions in this article?

How do you restore clear vision?

23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. 24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. 27 Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. (Prov. 4:23-27 NIV)

2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12:2 NIVO)
