Words of Comfort

Psalm 30:5 – “…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
Psalm 34:17-18 – “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
Psalm 40:1-2 – “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry; He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.”
Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Psalm 55:22 – “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Psalm 70:20-21 – “You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.”
