Moving Forward in the Kingdom

I know many of your were shocked by the  announcement this past Sunday. Stepping down from a full time ministry role in the church was a hard decision to make with many factors. We have accomplished so much together and I know there are many mixed feelings for all of us about this change and a search for a new minister.

The good news is that we will remain in     Birmingham. I will work for World Bible School from a home office and most importantly we will continue to serve and worship with the church at Riverchase. I want you to know that we love    everyone in this congregation and we want to maintain strong friendships in the Lord that we and our children have built over the 9 years we have been here.

We will also continue working in our          children’s education program and building upon the foundation that has been laid. We have a wonderful team of coordinators, teachers,      deacons and parents that invest heavily into teaching God’s word.

Also, please tell your children that Mr. Tim is still here. He will still be teaching bible classes, Adventure Club, leading devotionals, attending suppers and events. The special place your    children have in my heart will remain and they will always be greeted with a warm smile or high five.

Join me in prayer as the search begins for a new minister who will be welcomed with loving and open arms by the church here and as we all continue to move forward working in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
