We are thrilled to announce our 2018 Summer Interns. McKenzie Bassett and Harris Fondren will work with our Youth Ministry and Emily Howe will be working with our Children’s Ministry. They all bring tireless energy, devotion to our children and youth, organizational skills, and an ability to adjust and adapt on a moment’s notice. Both McKenzie and Harris were interns last year at Riverchase, and there is no doubt that they are all capable for the task at hand.
McKenzie Bassett is a Senior, majoring in Child Development at Harding University. McKenzie will graduate with honors in December 2018. She is extremely talented and passionate about pointing others to Jesus Christ. She also offers many skills and a multiplicity of teaching tools that will help equip our teen girls throughout the summer.
Her teamwork is a gift from God, and I am confident in her abilities as a leader and woman of God.
Harris Fondren has recently transferred from Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa where he was very involved with Tide4Christ Campus Ministry. He is finishing up his college career at Freed Hardeman University and has a double major in Bible and Youth and Family Ministry, with an emphasis in Psychology, He expects to graduate in 2020. I am confident in his abilities as a leader and a man of God.
