* Sunday - Love does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (Romans 13:10)

Dear Father in heaven ~ thank you for granting us life along with reassuring hopes on this new Lord’s Day. Bless all Christians who assemble today in honor of Christ our Lord and Savior. Give us a larger measure of your wisdom so that we will become more proactive in the way we love one another with pure hearts. Help us to cheerfully obey this ancient command to love our neighbor as our self. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Monday - By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; (Psalm 65:5 ESV)

Dear Father in heaven ~ our hearts are filled with sincere gratitude on this new day on which we realize how blessed we are to be part of your family of believers as we do our best to walk in the footsteps of Jesus our Lord and Master. Help us to extend our spiritual vision to include all human beings in our plans and efforts to expand the borders of the Kingdom of Christ. Give us revived faith, hope and love as we witness your awesome deeds around the world. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Tuesday - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

Almighty God, our dear heavenly Father ~ we give you thanks from the depths of our hearts for the spectacular gift of life on this new day. As we rely upon our glorious divine being - Jesus Christ the Lord, help us to exercise the wisdom that comes from your Spirit in order to lead lost souls to salvation as they hear and obey the gospel message of salvation. Grant us courage and pure wisdom so that we will never apologize for commending Jesus as the only way to eternal life with you - O God our Father. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Wednesday - Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.” (Luke 8:18 ESV)

Almighty God, our merciful heavenly Father ~ we give you thanks on this new day as we count our blessings and realize how much you love your creatures, even when we fail to live up to your good and perfect plan for our lives. Grant us sufficient amount of wisdom from your Spirit that will enable us to pay more close attention to the teachings of Christ our Lord that are revealed in the Scriptures. Help us to put into practice what we hear and learn from our Lord that make it possible for us to share this knowledge with others. We pray in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

* Thursday - "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"  The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise." (Luke 10:36-37 NIV)

Dear God, our kind and merciful Father in heaven ~ thank you for the amazing and mysterious gift of life on this new day. Grant us wisdom so that we will not fail to understand that Christ expects us to imitate the example of the Samaritan by doing good when we have opportunity. Forgive us for the times when we have failed to show your love to strangers who have asked us for help. Help us to open our eyes to understand the type of behavior that is truly like our Savior and sacrifice time and resources in order to truly help a person in need. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, who gave Himself for us, Amen.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Friday - “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV)

Almighty God, dear Father of all mankind ~ we humbly shut our mouths and subserviently bow before your great presence that fills the entire universe. Grant all world leaders and citizens of this earth the desire and motivation to exert all mental and physical energies toward the publication of your righteousness as we exalt your glorious Son - Jesus the Christ for all people. Give all followers of Christ the wisdom to allow your Spirit to lead and comfort us during this era of one new crisis followed by another. Come now Lord Jesus! We pray in your precious name and by your authority, Amen.

* Saturday - As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NIV)

Dear heavenly Father ~ we approach your august presence with a sense of the deepest awe when we ponder over your creation and the role of the Scriptures in guiding your chosen children of faith. Give us deeper understanding that comes from your perfect word as we work to help lost souls hear the good news about your day of salvation. We fervently pray to witness the implementation of your will for all people around the world, as we wait for the coming day of the Lord. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
