* Sunday - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)

Almighty God, our dear heavenly Father ~ hear our prayers on this new Lord’s Day on which all those who love your Church will do their best to assemble with others of the same precious faith most dear to our hearts. Help us O Lord, to be prepared to receive Christ Jesus with an open door to his powerful teachings inspired by your Holy Spirit. Give us wisdom so that we will hear, believe and obey the truth and receive the gift of eternal life. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Monday - Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! (Psalm 31:19 NKJV)

Almighty God, our kind, abundantly merciful dear Father in heaven ~ hear our prayers on this new day that portends peace and joy as we realize more fully that we are daily surrounded by your goodness and love. Grant us a generous supply of your perfect wisdom that will enable us to think clearly and make judicious decisions regarding our relations with other people. Help us to never be ashamed to bear witness before others regarding our trust in Jesus as Lord. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Tuesday - And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Most holy and awesome God - you are glorious beyond all description forever and ever! Thank you dear Father for supplying our every need in abundance before we even recognize we have a need. Give us wisdom so that we will act prudently and give liberally with cheerful hearts while we are full partners with those who execute bold plans to spread your love along with the saving gospel to every nation on earth. In the name of Christ Jesus we pray, Amen.

* Wednesday - Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.” (Luke 8:18 ESV)

Almighty God, our merciful heavenly Father ~ we give you thanks on this new day as we count our blessings and realize how much you love your creatures, even when we fail to live up to your good and perfect plan for our lives. Grant us sufficient amount of wisdom from your Spirit that will enable us to pay more close attention to the teachings of Christ our Lord that are revealed in the Scriptures. Help us to put into practice what we hear and learn from our Lord that make it possible for us to share this knowledge with others. We pray in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

* Thursday - You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall (Isaiah 25:4 NIV)

Dear heavenly Father who reigns and rules by your perfect standard of righteousness ~ we give you thanks on this new day on which we are witnesses of your power and glory throughout the entire universe you created. Grant us wisdom that will make it possible for us to discern the wily tricks of those who plan and foment evil on their enemies and even their own families. Help us to demonstrate the love of Christ living in us by the way we show mercy to the poor and needy who are often the victims of heartless and narcissistic people who prey on the defenseless. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Friday - Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. (Psalm 143:10 NIV)

Almighty God, everlasting Creator and our dear Father in heaven ~ we give thanks on this new day for the incredible gift of life that resides in our otherwise lifeless bodies. Grant us more of the perfect wisdom of Christ that comes from your Spirit so that we will actually hear, see, understand and obey more of your good will for all mankind. O dear Lord Jesus, lead us by your perfect light in times of sorrow and times of joy. We earnestly beseech you in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

* Saturday - How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? (Romans 10:14 ESV)

Dear heavenly Father ~ hear our prayers on this day in this spectacular world you created as our habitation until we experience an even better place far beyond the horizon. Give sharper spiritual insight to all those who proclaim the message about salvation through obedient faith in Jesus Christ so that they will present the truth in the most persuade manner possible. Help all those who hear the message with understanding to humble themselves before your mighty throne and turn away from sin and trust and obey Jesus Christ as Lord with full allegiance to His teaching and example. We earnestly pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
