![]() | Dewayne Spivey is our pulpit Minister. Dewayne began working with our congregation in the fall of 1999. He was born in Moulton, Alabama and graduated from Austin High School in Decatur. He started preaching as a teenager at the Memorial Drive congregation (now called Beltline) in Decatur. He attended Freed-Hardeman College and graduated from David Lipscomb College in 1972, majoring in Bible. Dewayne met his wife, Cathy, while they were both students at Freed-Hardeman and they married on August 28, 1970. Dewayne has served congregations in Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Alabama. In addition, Dewayne has been part of mission efforts in Trinidad, Nigeria, and Africa's Sierra Leone. Dewayne has four sons, four daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. ![]() | Tony Brimingham is our Children’s minister with emphasis on children 6th grade and younger. Tony has been a member of the Riverchase congregation since 1999, and joined the staff in October of 2005. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Freed-Hardeman University and an Engineering degree from Mississippi State University. Tony’s wife Jana is also graduated from Freed-Hardeman University. Brandon met his wife, Kristin, while they were both counselors at UPLIFT summer camp at Harding University and were married on May 5th, 2007. Kristin is a graduate of Harding University with a degree in Interior Design. Brandon has served congregations in Tennessee, China, Italy, and Alabama. In addition, Brandon has been part of mission efforts to Greece, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Scotland, and England. He and his wife Kristin have one daughter, Charlotte Kimberly.
